Will It Fit Your Walker?

✅ Jover Fits:

Jover is designed to fit the standard folding walker—the folding metal frame type that’s commonly prescribed and used for mobility support for adults.

How to know if that’s what you have:

  • Metal frame
  • Push-button release folding mechanism
  • Folds flat for storage or transport
  • Four legs (two front, two back)
  • Front legs may or may not have wheels

If this describes your walker, then Jover is likely a fit!

❌ Jover Does Not Fit:

  • Bariatric folding walkers (wider than standard)
  • Junior folding walkers (smaller than standard)
  • Rollators (4-wheeled walkers with brakes and seats)
  • Trigger release folding walkers
  • Other specialty or non-standard walkers (travel, three-wheeled, one-sided, etc.)

✨ Jover Styles: Two Designs for Flexibility

Standard folding walkers generally follow the same design, but some vary—especially in grip to side bar distance. This is where Jover’s two model types come in:

1. Original Design

This applies to Jover's 10 original styles, which have side panel straps that wrap up from under the lower side bar: Royally Purple, Tickled Pink, Deep Marine, Clear Skies, Spring Meadow, Woodland Camo, Paradise Floral, Tropical Garden, Happy Camper, and Whale Dance.

  • Best fit when the distance from hand grip to side bar is ~16"
  • Pro tip: If the side bar on your walker is lower and the strap won't attach, we have a workaround—simply fasten the straps directly to the cover without wrapping around the lower side bar. Your Jover will still hang and function nicely.

2. Second Generation Design

This applies to Jover's four newest styles, which do not have side panel straps that wrap up from under the lower side bar: Fireworks, Winter Birds, Fall Festival, and Sunflowers.

  • No straps = no lower side bar issues
  • Designed to accommodate even more standard folding walker models, even those with lower side bars

🧩 Fit Details & Adjustability:

  • 100% polyester—structured with a slight bit of give
  • Width and length of hook-and-loop closures offer some adjustability
  • Jover stays secure, folds flat with the walker, and is easy to put on and take off

📏 Still Not Sure?

Measure the distance from the top of the hand grip to the lower side bar on your walker.

  • If it’s around 16", the original Jover design with side straps will likely fit your walker.
  • If the distance is greater, choose a Second Generation cover—Fireworks, Winter Birds, Fall Festival, Sunflowers, or use the Pro Tip workaround—secure the straps directly to the cover without wrapping them around the lower side bar.
