At Jover, our mission is simple: to make mobility feel good.
We believe walkers and other mobility aids don’t have to feel clinical or impersonal—they can be expressive, stylish, and empowering. That belief has shaped everything we do. And recently, it led us somewhere unexpected: a Shark Tank open casting call.
Yes, that Shark Tank.
We’re not typically ones to seek the spotlight. We focus on our customers and their stories. But we also know that to make a real difference, people have to know we exist. That’s why we stepped out of our comfort zone and into line at a Shark Tank audition.
Show Up, Stand Out
We arrived at Rivers Casino in Philadelphia about 45 minutes before the official 8 a.m. lineup—early enough for a great spot, late enough to get decent sleep. The line was buzzing with energy: inventors, entrepreneurs, everyday people with big ideas and bigger hopes.
Inside, the casting crew laid out the rules: one minute, one chance, no fluff. Just passion.
One Minute, One Message
Our number was called—#220—and suddenly, we were in it.
We delivered our pitch with purpose: Jover isn’t just a walker cover, it’s a movement. A shift from medical to meaningful. A way to turn something functional into something joyful. We also brought Mara, a Jover user and our biggest fan, who shared how it changed her experience of mobility—giving her back confidence and personality.
And then, just like that, it was done.
Why It Mattered
Whatever happens next, the audition was worth it. We met amazing people, swapped stories with fellow creators, and most importantly, shared Jover with a wider audience. That’s why we went—to help more people discover a product that can truly make a difference. We’ll try every route to get the word out, even one that feels totally out of character.
Because we believe in this. And we believe in the people who use it.
